What is a credit, and what does one cost?
A credit is a unit of usage: 10 credits is $1. You spend them per action rather than per seat — a website audit is 30 credits, a keyword search, backlink lookup, competitor check or historical-data pull is 5, and an AI-written article is 0.5. One balance pays for all of it, so nothing is reserved for a tool you do not use.
How many credits does each plan include?
Free gives you 30 credits a month, Professional 150, and Premium 450. On the paid plans unused credits roll over — up to 300 on Professional and 900 on Premium — so a quiet month is not simply lost.
What happens when I run out mid-month?
Nothing is cancelled and nothing is deleted. You can top up any amount from $10 and carry on immediately — purchased credits never expire, and they are spent only after your monthly allowance is gone, so the expiring pool always goes first.
Do I have to pick a plan to use credits?
No. Credits work on their own — you can buy them without a subscription and run audits, keyword research, backlinks and AI writing entirely pay-as-you-go. A plan is worth it once you are using the tools every week, because the monthly allowance costs less per use than topping up.
Ask AI
Are Ask AI tokens the same as credits?
No — they are a separate balance and nothing converts between them. Ask AI runs on a daily token allowance that refills every morning: 200k a day on Free, 500k on Professional and 750k on Premium. If you regularly run out before the day is over you can raise that daily figure for 30 days.

Can I change plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrading takes effect immediately and your new monthly allowance applies straight away. Downgrading takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, so you keep what you bought.
What happens if I cancel?
Access continues until the end of the period you have paid for — there is no immediate cut-off. Credits you purchased separately are yours regardless: they never expire and survive cancellation, because you paid for them outright rather than renting them.
