## About
Link & Learn Certification runs the official online training platform used by thousands of volunteers each year who prepare taxes through the IRS VITA and TCE programs. The site delivers self-paced courses that cover current tax law, software navigation, and quality-review procedures so volunteers can file returns accurately for low-income taxpayers. People who finish the required modules receive the certification needed to work at IRS-supported tax sites across the country. The platform updates every filing season with new law changes and practice scenarios drawn from real returns. Volunteers appreciate the clear navigation and built-in quizzes that let them check their progress before the final exam. Nonprofit organizations and community colleges often embed the training into their own volunteer onboarding so new helpers get up to speed quickly. Because the courses are free and publicly available, anyone interested in tax work can start without paying fees or buying textbooks. The training also includes short videos and downloadable reference sheets that volunteers keep on their phones during filing season. Site administrators can track completion rates for their teams, which helps meet IRS grant reporting requirements. Over the years the platform has become the standard way most VITA programs certify their seasonal staff. The curriculum
