## About
Creative Writing Now runs a straightforward site packed with free and paid lessons on fiction writing. The focus stays on getting words on the page rather than theory, with step-by-step exercises that cover plotting, character work, dialogue, and revision. Writers who sign up get access to email courses and printable worksheets that walk through common stuck points like weak openings or flat endings. The material draws from years of teaching both beginners and people who have already started novels but never reached the end. No flashy video production, just clear instructions and examples pulled from real manuscripts. The site also hosts occasional live workshops where participants share pages and get direct feedback. Revenue comes from a handful of paid courses plus an optional membership that unlocks extra prompts and critique swaps. Most users are adults writing in their spare time, though some teachers pull lessons for classroom use. The tone stays encouraging without promising overnight success or bestseller status. Over time the library has grown to cover short stories, memoirs, and screenplays alongside novels. Everything stays self-hosted with no outside investors or large team behind it.
